Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body. Collagen is used to make the scaffolding that provides structural integrity to the body. It is found in bones, in ligaments, in cartilage, in the skin, and is even used to hold tissues together. Collagen provides both strength and flexibility. While there are several types of collagen, the vast majority is types I, II, or II.
Collagen is generally insoluble and has a distinct taste, but we use a hydrolyzed collagen which means the collagen has been broken down into smaller peptides. Our collagen is readily soluble and has virtually no taste. This is an unflavored product and is designed to be put into your favorite shake, smoothie, preworkout, etc.
We've also added a huge serving of Hyaluronic acid. This polysaccharide is produced naturally by the body as a lubricant and is often found along with collagen. Together they make a potent age fighting combination.
